On September 1, 2016, at the National Academy of Management was held a ceremony of  "Dedication to students" for the freshmen. The solemn meeting was attended by the teaching staff of the Academy, freshmen, their parents and friends.
After the ceremony first-year students went for a trip around Kyiv on Party Bus, where they could dance, sing, have fun and relax.

During the boat trip along the Dnieper River students, alumni and teaching stuff of Academy had the opportunity of enjoying sights of Kyiv and informal communication.

On May 19, 2016 was held International scientific conference "Ukraine on the way to the European Union from the perspective of Polish transformation experience" hosted by the University of Warsaw, Poland. The conference brought together many well-known Polish and Ukrainian scientists.

At the conference National Academy of Management was represented by  Rector, Prof. Sergii A. Ierokhin. The issues discussed during the conference were the main difficulties and priorities on Ukraine's way to the European Union, legal and economic adjustment processes of Ukrainian state.

Hope that the conference will be a source of finding innovative and strong socio-economic solutions for Ukraine.

In March 2016 editorial board of «Actual Problems of Economics» along with the blind reviewers has considered unusually many texts from 12 countries of the world. Due to increased interest, however, rather disappointing results we would like to analyze the key trends for March 2016: overall, 443 texts have been emailed. 219 of them were in English, other 224 – in Russian or Ukrainian languages (almost 50:50 split).
However, out of 443 only 79 texts have been fully approved and placed into an issue! Thus, 364 were fully rejected or sent back to their authors for further work. And what is most important, as many as 143 texts (sic!) were rejected because of plagiarism detection!
Around 50% of those cases, that is 71, were actually SELF-plagiarism, meaning – massive self-citing of author’s own previous works, already published and widely available online.

We would like to remind all potential authors! Yes, we check for plagiarism, all three languages, all texts, before blind review. 

We are pleased to announce that at the beginning of 2016 National Academy of Management and Institute of European Studies, University of Warsaw (Poland) signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The Memorandum is aimed to:

• Organize two diploma studies conducted by the Institute of European Studies and National Academy of Management
• Initiate student exchange programs for one semester or one academic year, acknowledging credits and ratings mutually.
• Create opportunities for faculty exchanges between the Institute of European Studies and National Academy of Management
• Enroll to postgraduated studies and experts courses on European Administration, European Institution, Policies and Law organized by the Institute of European Studies
• To facilitate exchanges of experience in scientific research and training of specialists
• To exchange the study programs and curricula
